About Us
Walden Ridge Equestrian Center is centrally located only minutes from Kitchener-Waterloo, Cambridge and Guelph. Our farm is situated on 136 acres of beautiful farm land away from all the hustle and bustle of the city. We pride ourselves in our clean well-kept barn and happy horses!
Unlike other equestrian centers, we are not a lessons barn. This means you will always have full access to all of the facilities offered. We offer a family friendly atmosphere, and are open to all disciplines.

Facility Manager
Starr Schlueter manages Walden Ridge Equestrian Center, bringing over 30 years of hands-on experience in horse care, training, and management. Prior to Walden Ridge, she owned and managed a 30-horse racing stable, developing extensive expertise in equine health, lameness, and first aid.
Her passion for horses began in childhood, inspired by her grandparents’ farm and the gift of her first horse at age seven. Since then, each horse she has worked with has deepened her knowledge and reinforced the values of patience, discipline, and dedication.
Starr is proud to live her passion every day, creating a knowledgeable, professional, and caring environment that defines Walden Ridge.
